I just love the art style here. I love the depictions of vast open green plains strewn with lakes and fields in general - but here, it's also drawn in a very appealing way.
In honesty, I'm tempted to ask what sort of technique you use while painting something like this - even if I can sort of see it myself, in the sense that it's just brushstrokes laid down in a smart way, and what it actually requires is good understanding of light and shadow. Which is sadly something that I have problems with.
You know, I probably should revisit one tutorial on landscape painting that seemed to make the process clear even to me, despite my perennial problems with shading and lighting.
